Pigeon Creek uses white cedar logs, with cedar being naturally resistant  to insects, rot, warping, checking, and decay.  Our logs are not pressure treated and only need to be treated with an ultra-violet light protectant, which can be applied after construction. Our logs come in linear feet and are not precut.  Logs are predominately air dried with an average of 16 to 20 percent moisture content.  Logs can be kiln dried.
 
An aluminum lock spline connection system is used for construction.  We supply on-site assistance of eight (8) hours each with the log system, second floor beam system, and roof beam system.  Additional on-site assistance is available at the request of the customer.
